Established on April 30, 1962 in the erstwhile princely state of Patiala with the main objective of furthering the cause of Punjabi language, art and literature, Punjabi University has since evolved into the largest University in the state. Spread over 600 acres of land, its 500 teachers are imparting instruction and guidance to nearly 9,000 students in a multi-faceted, multi-pronged and multi-faculty environment comprising 65 Teaching and Research Departments on its Campus, five Regional Centers, six Neighborhood Campuses and 166 Colleges affiliated to it. The University has achieved a couple of milestones during its move towards furthering the overall development of Punjabi. Having published a record number of over 3,000 titles in Punjabi covering a wide range of areas and Establishing a special Punjabi Reference Library, it has taken upon itself the responsibility of catering to the linguistic and cultural needs of the overseas Punjabis.
Punjabi university has variety of Bachelor’s, Master’s, Post graduate diploma (PGD), Advance Post Graduate Diploma, certificate and Doctorate degree programs. The candidates can apply through any of the online or offline mode.
Punjabi University offers courses in Pharmacy, Library sciences, Management, Commerce, Languages, Computer Application, Performing Arts, Law, Engineering, and Business Administration at Under Graduate level. It also offers Distance education in various disciplines at Bachelor’s Level. It also has provision of Lateral entry to some courses. Registration starts in the month of May every year.
Admission To Some Of The Courses In Punjabi University Is Made Through Entrance Exam And To Other Courses Is Made Directly On The Basis Of Merit. Punjabi University Also Has Provisions Of Reservation For ST/SC/OBC, Differently-Abled, Wards Of Punjabi University Employees, Graduates From This University And Many More. In Its Bid To Encourage Education And Research, The Institute Also Has Provision For Scholarship For Meritorious Students And Students From Economically Weaker Sections.
Admission Process of Punjabi University Interested candidates can apply online/ offline with the required information. Admission is based on the marks obtained in graduation. Admission is open on the basis of first come first served basis.
Online applications forms to apply for courses offered by Punjabi University will be available on the official website after admission schedule is announced.
To apply online, applicants have to register themselves first by entering email ID and mobile number. Once the registration is done successfully, a login password will be sent to the provided email ID and mobile number via SMS. This login ID is to be used as AIN (Application Identification Number) for future login purpose.
After Successful login applicant will be required to select course(s) he / she may wish to apply and check the eligibly first. Once found eligible he / she can fill up rest of the admission form.

Candidates can download Punjabi University BA Bsc Bcom Time Table/ Punjabi University BA BSc BCom Time Table/ Date Sheet/ Exam Dates Schedule/ Routine In Pdf Format from the official portal. Candidates can apply the Punjabi BA BSC online Exam form before the last date.
The Panjabi University Examination 2018 Admit Card can be downloaded from the official website. Admit Card is one of the major documents needed for the examination. The Panjabi 2018 Admit Card will include the candidate's name, date of birth, exam center, exam date, the name of the course, reporting time, registered roll number etc. The candidates should carry their admit card along with the other relevant documents at the reporting center of the examination.
